Jambalay Diaries: Thursday, December 27th

When old words die out on the tongue, new melodies break forth from the heart; and where the old tracks are lost, new country is revealed with its wonders. -Rabindranath Tagore, poet, philosopher, author, songwriter, painter, educator, composer, Nobel laureate (1861-1941)

Hi Trice, we are staying at my former nephew's place until Jan. 10th.
We are having an open house on New Year's Day if you can come it would be great.
Tricia and you would be very welcome. Our oldest daughter and grandsons and my parents will be here. If not maybe you can come another day or we can meet in Pasadena.

  • Patrick James Dunn Bon Voyage and Buona Fortuna! Just enjoyed a lovely rib dinner, (Clarisse and Cora Lee), with Los Horridos here at Il Palazzio, (pool and hot tub before dinner!) de Simi Valley, (63.3K on the surrounding hills this afternoon, in the gorgeous sunshine!), and now am trying to catch up on messages. Healthy New Year in the Philippines! Cheers, Patrizzio!
     Hello Beatrice!

Delighted to hear from you! As Cora Lee has already mentioned, please try to pop by for our Open House on New Year's Day, 269 Fawn Valley Crescent, Simi Valley, Ca., 93065. You are welcome to stay overnight if you would like, given driving, etc. Pack your tooth brushes! At any rate, we'd be keen to see you in Pasadena whenever that might work, given your schedule and our departure date. Lovely to receive your message. Please pass along best wishes to Patrizia! Stay in touch! Cheers, Patrizzio!

Snapolas: Cora Lee with close friends, in Berkeley, Sunday, day we left Healdsburg, Pat, Amos, David and Nancy; Dusty, Clara, (Corinne's parents), Cora Lee, Chloƫ, (our youngest daughter), having Christmas Day dinner; Joey, the cat we are taking care of while his owners are in Bora Bora!

    Hi Lads!

Trust you are well and riding in the snow! Much to tell but no time to record adventures! Think we are off to the Ronald Regan Library domani, literally just down the road from us.

This is truly a wonderful place to ride. If LA was flat, Simi is hill country. Not crushing ascents but enough grade to make life interesting. Best wishes to your respective Sistherhoods. Cheers, Il Conduttore!

PS: Christmas cake was more than a hit but most people thought it contained too much flour!
