Jambalaya Diaries, Saturday, December 29th

The best armor is to keep out of gunshot. -Francis Bacon, essayist, philosopher, and statesman (1561-1626)

Joey!
Hi Big Al and Marilyn!

Trust you are both well and that you and all your family enjoyed a wonderful Christmas. We certainly had more than a terrific time ourselves. Last night we feasted on a more than scrumptious rib dinner, (Clarisse and Cora Lee), with Los Horridos, Chloë and Ayn, here at Il Palazzio, (pool and hot tub before dinner!), de Simi Valley, (63.3K on the surrounding hills this afternoon, in the gorgeous sunshine!), and then a family card game. Lots of fun!

Trying to catch up on messages before breakfast. Much to tell but no time to record adventures! Think we are off to the Ronald Regan Library this morning, literally just down the road from us.

There's a pool and hot tub so bring your suits if you want to swim or soak. Lots of towels here!
Look forward to seeing both of you. Happy New Year, Corinne

Thanks Corinne. We'll see you in a few days! Trice

Hi Sarge!

This is truly a wonderful place to ride. If LA was flat, Simi is hill country. Not really any crushing ascents, that I've found anyway, but enough grade to make life interesting. Bit like Penticton/Naramata! Best wishes to Famiglia Sutherland for a Healthy New Year.  Cheers, Patrizzio!

Glad to hear from you. Things have been fairly quiet here. Looking at going to Monk Mc Queens for New Years.  Do you have return info for Dusty and Claire. W
